I’m Richard

My life by any means is less than ordinary, most, if not all, by my choices. For my first post, I’ll be brief, but expect future posts to be full of life events and emotions that come along with them.

My name is Richard, and I have a few nicknames I go by at home with my family and very close friends. From a very early age, in kindergarten, for my earliest memory, I have always requested, maybe sometimes demanded, that anyone outside of my close circle call me Richard. More on that later.

I am blessed better than I deserve; more on that, too. I am the son of a pastor and the oldest sibling of two amazing sisters. I am a Father to three Godsends and a husband to such an outstanding Christ-centered woman of God. She, along with countless life events, has shaped our lives.

We all have a story to share, and with God's help, I hope this blog has a Godly and positive impact on whoever reads and shares it. I do not know what God has in store, but I pray that with each post and each experience I share, someone will benefit from it and know the steadfast faithfulness that he does stick closer than a brother.
