Sunshine State Switch: How Going Solar Transformed My Florida Lifestyle!

We finally did it!

For years, my wife has had to endure my crazy ideas, sales pitches, and sales representative presentations. There were numerous encounters where I would barely get into my second sentence, and she would respond, “This sounds like it’s going to be a sales pitch,” to which, more times than not, she was correct in her assumption.

I do not go into a deal or decision lightly without completing my research and annoying the company representative with all my skeptical questions. I have politely shut the door on many door knockers and asked to be put on countless “Do not call lists” from SPAM or UNKNOWN numbers.

We’ve had an interest in a solar system with our previous homes. Each time, we came to the same conclusion: we will discuss it and get back to you. Two of the three sales pitches would try to counter with an incentive (If you sign up today, there is an additional discount yatta yatta yatta). Of course, before that statement, we had already decided that it was not in the budget, and we did not get that “let’s do it” feeling in our gut.

I met someone through a church friend who had also done their research and committed to putting solar on their home. I researched their representative, made a connection, and sat through the presentation. Most of the presentations I had heard before or facts very similar to what I had heard previously.

Alex with Titan Solar was transparent, well-spoken, and trustworthy. Through conversation, random timed questions, and concerns, he answered all of them promptly. Throughout our discussions, they turned from presentation scenarios to more of getting a friendly connection through similar personal experiences. During our conversations, I began to pick up on verbal and visual cues that resonated with me. As a veteran, I could relate to many aspects of his law enforcement experience.

With our work schedules, I had reservations about a few more things, including the Tax incentive and, of course, the installation process. He offered to inform me of the installation date, and with the permission of my friends from church, we could go to their home and view the process. His willingness and openness to even offer us to inspect the process to understand better what to anticipate was fantastic customer service and salesmanship. We committed shortly after that. I informed Alex we wanted to proceed and get the ball rolling. From there, some short paperwork initiated the process, and Alex was with us every step of the way. There was never a feeling of a bait and switch feeling; I felt confident and comfortable throughout the process. The timing and quality of our system is exceptional.

Suppose you have been on the fence or in the dark on solar. I stepped into the sunlight With Alex at Titan Solar. Alex and Titan have been and continue to be great, and we are incredibly pleased. I just checked my power bill, and it showed we had not used any energy in days as we have produced more than we used during the sunlight hours and used our reserve or credit energy at night.

Alex and Titan won us over on another crucial thing: Price. As I stated earlier, we have sat through numerous presentations. But Alex, through his demeanor and approachability, won us on that, plus the price and quality were the cherry on top. We have completed our first month of solar, which has already shown dividends.

If you’re skeptical about solar, I highly recommend Alex with Titan Solar. Call him today, mention my name, Richard Arthurs, and tell him I recommended you. He is an honest family man, just trying to earn extra money to support his family like we are in these challenging times. One house at a time.

Power companies want to raise rates, and that is no sales pitch. I just received an email stating they had asked for a 10% increase on top of other increases they are hoping for approval. They recommend offsetting these requested hikes in cost, which they claim are to counter all the repairs during the 2022 hurricane season. They recommend to customers a few options, 1: take a survey to see how you are using power in your home and if you should upgrade to more energy efficient appliances. 2: was to sign up for budget billing. Budget billing allows your monthly payments to stay fairly consistent throughout the year regardless of temperature changes.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have the freedom and energy reliability to sit back and watch the power meter run backwards? Wouldn’t it be nice to have the freedom from price hikes on your power bill? Wouldn’t it be nice to know that on a scorching hot August day you can set your A/C to a more comfortable temperature and know that your bill may not even be effected? That is a great feeling. That is just a glimpse to what solar can do for you. Call Alex today. I’m Blessed by God and I know He set us to cross paths for a reason.

I’m Richard, married to my beautiful bride Devyn and we have 3 amazing children. I’m a U.S. Military combat veteran and proud of it. I’m a pastors kid, a manager, a youth pastor, and so much more. . In a retail/ministry life-style, some would say we are too busy; but it gives us purpose. Life has taken me through some scenic routes mainly due to my own choices. But through all that, God has been faithful. I am truly thankful for her mercy, blessings and grace. My wife and I have started this incredible challenge of living a homesteaders life and doing things that generations ago were normal; now not so much. It is hard work and we love it. Through all of this we are dedicated to focusing on ensuring our kids grow up to be respectful individuals who understanding nothing is handed out for free and it takes hard work and determination. As a son, my father wanted us to be better than him. I respect that and have taken that to heart and I want my kids to be better than me. Better physically, mentally, and most importantly spiritually. Our relationship with Christ should be our foundation in everything we do.
